Why we feature it
Stability is the thing. The low-slung cargo area sits the weight down where it belongs, so the bike stays planted when you're loaded up and pulling away from the lights. That is the difference between a cargo bike you use daily and one that intimidates you.
Power comes from the Ananda M100 mid-drive putting out 300W and 120N·m of torque — the same motor we rate highly across the Wattwheels range, and the torque is what you feel when you're moving 180kg of bike, rider and cargo up a rise. Behind it sits a 672Wh Samsung pack good for around 60km (with rider input), with a dual-battery option if your runs are longer.
The drivetrain is the standout. An Enviolo internal gear hub paired with a Gates carbon belt means no chain, no derailleur, no gear cables — you shift by twisting the grip, at a standstill if you like, which is exactly what you want when you're stopping and starting with a loaded bike. It is also close to maintenance-free: no oiling, no stretching, nothing to snag small fingers. Tektro Gemini four-piston hydraulic brakes bring it all to a stop.
It arrives with the front rack fitted, a front light, and a colour display with USB charging.
Carry options
The rear capsule is available as a kids' capsule or a cargo capsule (+$399), and the platform takes most standard child seats if you already have one. Talk to us about which configuration suits how you plan to use it — this is the decision most worth getting right at the point of purchase.
Smart connectivity
A 4G SIM module is built in, paired to the Wattwheels app: real-time GPS location, geo-fencing alerts if the bike moves without you, remote lighting and assistance control, remote diagnostics, and the ability to report it stolen — which shuts the bike down and alerts the dealer network.
The app subscription is included for the first year and renews at $59.95 per year after that. It is entirely optional — the bike rides normally without it. Tracking functions require 4G coverage, and we recommend removing the battery if the bike will sit unused for more than a week or two.
WorkRide eligible
At 300W the S-Cargo sits inside the WorkRide power limit, so it can be purchased through the scheme if your employer is signed up. Talk to us about how that works.

Delivery and assembly
Please allow 7 working days for delivery and assembly of your bike. Bikes are shipped 90% assembled with basic final assembly required, or fully assembled and safety-checked by our own mechanics if collected from the store. Warranty work and servicing are handled in-house, or by nationwide repair partners in the event you are an out-of-town buyer.
Wattwheels occasionally substitute components of equal or better specification due to supply conditions, so minor variations between production runs are possible.
